Field of Use These sunglasses protect against the risk of eye damage caused by exposure to sunlight. They are not suitable for direct observation of the sun or for viewing solar eclipses. They are not intended to protect against artificial sources of radiation (e.g., solaria), and are not designed to provide mechanical impact protection. They are also not suitable for driving at night or in poor visibility conditions. Individuals with known sensitivities or allergies to the materials used in the frame or lenses may experience adverse reactions upon contact. Filter Category and Type The filter category and type of lens are indicated on the packaging, on the barcode sticker near the symbol *, or as the last two characters of the model code printed on the temple of the frame. The number represents the filter category and ranges from 0 (very limited sun glare protection) to 4 (very high protection). The letter indicates the lens type: ‘N’ stands for normal lenses, ‘P’ for polarized, and ‘F’ for photochromic. For photochromic lenses, if only one number is indicated, it refers to the category in bright light conditions; in low light, the category may be lower. If two numbers are indicated, they refer to the filter categories in bright and low light conditions respectively. General Information The lenses of these sunglasses are of high optical quality and provide 100% UV protection. Limitations of Use These sunglasses are not intended for use in conditions requiring protection against direct sunlight, such as solar eclipses. They do not offer protection from artificial radiation sources and are not impact-resistant. In the event of impact, the lenses may break and cause injury. They should not be used for night driving or in low visibility conditions. Adverse skin reactions, while rare, may occur in individuals with allergies or sensitivities to certain materials.
