Manufacturer Information Booklet Sunglasses for Genral Use: Sunglasses - This product complies with the applicable essential health and safety requirements set out in Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and meets the EN ISO 12312-1:2022 standard; its intended use is to protect against the risk to the damage to the eyes due to exposure to sunlight (other than during observation of the sun). This Manufacturer information booklet contains important information about use, care and cleaning of Sunglasses. Please read it carefully before using the product. The manufacturer will not accept any liability/warranty claim for any damage caused by the improper use and/or by lack of/incorrect maintenance of this product. LIMITATIONS OF USE These sunglasses are not for direct observation of the sun. These sunglasses are not for protection against artificial radiation sources. These sunglasses do not protect against mechanical impacts hazards such as impact, hard or pointed objects, during which the sunglasses could break, causing injury to the face and eyes. Not suitable for driving in twilight or at night. Not suitable for driving at night or under conditions of dull light. Electro-optical sunglass filters/electro-optical sunglass filters are not for use by individuals who are susceptible to photosensitive seizures. WARNING Materials which may come into contact with the wearer's skin could cause allergic reactions to susceptible individuals. STORAGE & MAINTENANCE When not in use or when carrying them around, please store the sunglasses in the original case provided at a temperature between -10°C and +35°C. Please avoid storing your sunglasses in place where they are exposed to high levels of heat, such as the heat in a car without conditioning (e.g. car dashboard), because high temperatures may alter the features of the sunglasses. Replace the sun filters if damaged (e.g. scratched, opaque) and use only original accessories and spare parts. Do not discard the product and relevant packaging in the environment; dispose of the product and relevant packaging in compliance with the current local regulations. CLEANING Use a damp cloth and mild soap to clean the sunglasses, then dry them with a soft, clean cloth. Do not use solvents (e.g. alcohol, acetone) or aggressive detergents which may alter the features of the sunglasses. FILTER PROPERTIES For information about type of filter, number of the filter category and description of the filter category and usage please refer to the TABLE below and to the section "MARKING" of this booklet. MARKING The Model Identification Mark is marked on the inside of the temple of the sunglasses. Filter category, the number corresponding to the filter category as defined in EN ISO 12312-1 and outlined in the TABLE is on the barcode label of the sunglasses packaging or on the inside of the temple. These numbers identify the filter category of the lens in its lightest and darkest state. The presence of the letter “P” after the filter category indicates that the lens is polarized. The presence of the letter “EO” after the filter categories of the lens in its lightest and darkest state indicates that the filters are electro-optical. For clip-on, the filter category of the assembled product is marked on the clip-on itself after the asterisk. The Serial Number is indicated on the inside of the temple of the product and/or on a label placed on the individual packaging after the “SN”.
